Why live odds move
In-play pricing responds to score, time remaining, player/team performance and other model inputs. A visible broadcast can lag the sportsbook data feed, so a market may suspend before the viewer sees the event that caused the suspension.
What market suspension means
A suspended market is temporarily unavailable while the operator updates information or manages uncertainty. It is not necessarily an error. Settlement still follows the sportsbook’s published rules after the event concludes or is otherwise resolved.
Risk-control checklist
Set a session budget before kickoff, avoid increasing stakes to recover losses, and do not treat rapid odds movement as a signal that a win is “due.” If the faster pace makes it hard to stay within limits, switch back to pre-match analysis or stop the session.
