Responsible Gambling
Gambling should never be treated as an investment or a reliable way to make money. Set limits before play, avoid chasing losses, and seek help when gambling causes financial, emotional or relationship harm.
Use this page for protection, not play

Set money limits before you play
Decide in advance what you can afford to lose without affecting rent, food, debt payments, savings or other essentials. Stop when that amount is reached.
Set time limits
Long sessions can make it harder to judge risk. Use breaks and a preset stop time rather than continuing because of recent wins or losses.
Do not chase losses
Increasing stakes to recover previous losses can accelerate harm. Each wager carries its own risk and previous losses do not make a future win more likely.
Watch for warning signs
Warning signs include hiding gambling, borrowing to gamble, missing obligations, repeated attempts to win back losses, irritability when trying to stop, or gambling to escape distress.
Get help early
If gambling feels difficult to control, use self-exclusion or account-limit tools where available and contact qualified support services. In an immediate mental-health crisis, contact local emergency or crisis support.
